Vernon Kendrick and Farmer and Son Funeral Directors are still a traditional family company, retaining the best of 90 years’ experience, with a traditional approach and modern ideas carried out in a professional and dignified way.

Founded in 1931 by Vernon Kendrick and still owned and directed by the Kendrick family now in its third generation.  We have been situated in Lye for many years, operating from our premises on Cemetery Road.

Farmer and Son Funeral Directors based in Wordsley started in the late 1800’s and has a long history serving the communities of Wordsley, Kingswinford, Wall Heath and surrounding areas.  J. Vernon Kendrick Funeral Directors bought Farmer & Son from the original Farmer family in 1955.  

In 2014 we opened a new funeral home in Greenfield Avenue, in the old quarter of Stourbridge for the convenience and ease of our Stourbridge, Oldswinford, Wollaston and Norton families.
